Yesterday, I visited Shelli at Market My Words and she was passing along the story of her friend's niece, Braedyn.Check out the full story here.
Braedyn is a 7-year girl from Witchita, Kansas who was just diagnosed with ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She's about to go through some serious treatment and her family would love for her to have some books and crafts to help her occupy her time while she is going through this. They would like her to get a new book each week. If you would like to help out, send an email to BSturgis@metrocast.net.
I know my heart goes out to this family. I've signed up to give what I can and I hope each of you can help them out too. Please keep them in your thoughts.

That is so sad and so hard on a family. I'll have to dig through my closets to see if I have anything a seven-year-old would want.
I'm not sue I have anything for a seven-year-old, but I'll have a look for sure. Thanks so much for writing about this!
What kind of books does she like?
That's so sweet!!! Let me see what I have on the shelves and when I am visiting the store this week, scrounge up something good to send her way!
I don't know if she's a little too old, but she might like it. I'm sure I can get something to send her. Thank you for sharing about this, Bethany!
I would love to send her a copy of Farm Girl. Thanks for this. I'll send an email.
